 POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Development & Marketing Associate (D/MA) is a key member of Plano Symphony Orchestra’s (PSO) administrative team, focused on building customer relationships and providing development and donor support. The D/MA, with support from office administration, addresses patron and donor needs through high-quality customer service and event management, providing personalized service to engage and enrich their experience with the PSO. The D/MA also has creative input for development and marketing campaigns across all mediums including print, social, and digital media. 

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Development & Marketing Associate will report directly to both the Development Manager and the Director of Patron Services & Marketing. 

This position requires duties performed in-office 9:00-5:00 pm weekdays. No work-from-home/remote option is available for this position at this time. Some nights and weekends required. 

The PSO maintains offices at 1635 Dorchester Drive in Plano and has programming throughout the year at a variety of venues throughout Plano and surrounding communities.

 POSITION OVERVIEW 

 The Education & Administrative Associate (E/AA) is a key member of Plano Symphony Orchestra’s (PSO) administrative team, focused on assisting the PSO’s Education and Community Engagement programs and supporting administrative projects. The E/AA, with support from office administration, addresses the needs of the PSO’s education programs and operational requirements through efficient management and distribution of information. The E/AA also has creative input for the projects and processes across these programs.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Education & Administrative Associate will report directly to the Director of Education and Finance Director, working in collaboration with the Executive Director, Music Director, and Assistant Conductor as well as other PSO staff.

 POSITION OVERVIEW 

 The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) works closely with the PSO’s Development team and plays a key role in supporting and achieving the strategic philanthropic goals of the Orchestra, with a focus on the PSO Annual Fund and Planned Giving campaigns. 

This position is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies for success in securing significant philanthropic support for the PSO’s annual operating fundraising campaign and long-term strategic planned giving programs. The MGO manages a portfolio of donors and prospective donors and is responsible for facilitating all phases of the gift cycle: to identify, contact, cultivate, solicit, and close. The MGO creates solicitations, writes proposals, and stewards donors while working collaboratively with key volunteers, executive leadership, and other departments and staff. 

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Major Gifts Officer will report directly to the Director of Development and Executive Director, working in collaboration with other PSO staff. 

This position requires duties performed 9:00-5:00 pm weekdays. There is potential for hybrid/remote scheduling. Some nights and weekends required.
