Ranging in age from 13-18, APPLAUSE Volunteers serve as youthful ambassadors for the Plano Symphony Orchestra in the community at concerts and special events. APPLAUSE volunteers receive credit for service hours performed in order to meet requirements in organizations such as the National Charity League, National Honor Society, Boy/Girl Scouts, and others. APPLAUSE volunteers usher at concerts and other events as needed.

The PSO College Ambassador Program gives college students hands-on volunteer experience at PSO concerts and offers an inside look at event and concert operations.

Ambassadors gain practical, real-world skills, support live performances, and connect with music lovers and professionals in the PSO community while building experience that looks great on a resume.

Benefits

• Build professional connections with PSO staff
• Learn about live concert operations
• Enjoy a free concert at every event you volunteer
• Get a free T-shirt for volunteering at three or more events
