- Parent approval
HOW TO APPLY
Interested students in the 6th or 7th grade must complete a student application, a school music director referral form, and a second recommendation from a teacher, coach, or other adult who knows you well by the required application deadline date.

The purpose of the
PSO Education Scholarship Program
WHAT THE PROGRAM DOES
The PSO Education Scholarship program awards provides weekly private instruction for both fall and spring semesters to deserving students. Approved PISD private instructors are assigned to recipients by school music directors. Twenty three scholarships have been awarded for 2023-24!
The Plano Symphony Orchestra’s Musical Scholarship Program for deserving students is generously supported by partner organizations, including the Plano Independent School District Council of PTAs and the Plano International Festival in addition to all our generous patrons and supporters. Thank you!
