FESTIVE LEGENDS: HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD

Jumpstart your holiday season with the Plano Symphony strings! Dancers from Pure Movement Dance in Allen will help us travel around the world in 45-minutes of holiday carols, traditions, dances, and fun! This interactive program invites kids to be part of the action on stage and culminates in a Christmas sing-a-long for the whole family. Arrive early to earn a Plano Symphony fun patch and try out instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo in the lobby one hour prior to the concert.
Help us give back this holiday season by bringing an item to donate to Metrocrest Services.

Calling all party animals to see Saint-Saen’s Carnival of the Animals like you have never seen it before! Ballet Ensemble of Texas joins the PSO woodwind quintet and piano with fantastic animal costumes and dance to perform the Bird, Lion, Swan, and more classical animals. Great animal movie music such as Lion King and Little Mermaid will round out the program which ends in a dance party on the floor with the dancers in costume!
The 3/9 3:00pm performance will be a sensory friendly concert in partnership with Sound Starts Music Therapy. Kids will enjoy all the music and dance with adaptations intended to support a great listening experience.
MYTHICAL HEROES AND VILLAINS
APR 6, 2025 • 3 PM | McKinney Performing Arts Center
From Superheroes to supervillains, larger than life characters have great music! Families will enjoy music from Avengers, Avatar, and 101 Dalmatians as well as some great heroes from classical music. Wear your cape and join us for 45-minutes of fantastic music! Arrive early to earn a Plano Symphony fun patch and try out instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo in the lobby 45 minutes prior to the concert.
