New WORKS

The Plano Symphony Orchestra is dedicated to bringing new music into the world through presenting world premieres, by the commissioning of local composers to create new pieces of music.

These world premieres and new compositions have brought a unique perspective to the Plano Symphony from a wide array of talented writers.

PREVIOUS COMMISSIONS

David Lovrien

Toccata on Carol of the Bells and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing were gifted to the PSO and premiered.  The PSO also premiered the first orchestral version of Minor Alterations and Minor Alterations #2.  Slumber Party was commissioned and performed by a chamber ensemble.
