The final performance of the Plano Symphony Orchestra’s triumphant 40th Anniversary Season will bring together the largest ensemble of musicians in PSO history, uniting the Plano Civic Chorus and the Irving Chorale with 100 PSO musicians for a rousing performance of one of the very best symphonies of all time: Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection.” This monumental collaboration fulfills a long-standing dream for Maestro Guzmán to conduct a performance of this piece—an opportunity he considers once in a lifetime.
